I bought these, not expecting the quality of gamma, but they do work. It takes a lot of effort, using a hammer to attach the ring to the bucket. The screw on lid, works well.

When ordering, the instructions make it sound like you can tap the rim in with a rubber mallet. Every time i would take a side in the other side would pop out. I held the sides, did all the tricks. This item is not worth the money at all because it doesn’t work!

Yes, I'm a real person. I bought these when I couldn't find the "real" ones (i.e. - Gamma Lids at TSC). So I bought these. They do NOT seal properly. I stored chicken feed and pond fish food in them. All got moldy and had to be tossed. Oh, and there were desiccant packs in the buckets also. The buckets with the Gamma Lids kept the moisture out. And the cheap ones (the ones for sale here) are tough as hell to get open as they don't fit correctly. I bought these a year ago and just opened up a bucket recently (MOLDY) and that reminded me to give you folks the REAL review. Spend the money and/or be patient and get the Gamma Lids
