Quality product and perfect fit for the model car as indicated. The material used might be just a bit on the hard side, but so far so good.

Not rubber. Not replacement. Will not work to replace Mercedes OEM rubber.

I found that the door strikers were ok on the MB, but the rubber section was gone to bits. I took the old strikers off, cleaned out the remanants of the old rubber, then put in the long tab on the outside with the front bumper sticking out. This then catches the latch under the pin and holds it steady. I did end up having to adjust the door stricker to make it fit. This may be due to others playing with in in the past. Much cheaper than buying the URO strickers at $16 to $20+ each. The door strikers did use to have rubber pins that can into the metal section, but they were not needed.Highly recommended if you wish to try the fix without new buying new strikers. I would recommend to have some new door bolts and to use a metric hex head on the bolts (5mm) with PB Blaster or the like to help loosen everything up.

Truly a garbage product, poorly designed and maybe never tested? The alignment for the door striker is extremely finicky, so the fact that these don’t fit right makes you question your sanity. In the end I got one to work by removing material with an exacto knife, but that shouldn’t be necessary with a readymade product like this
