While you can make these work they are by no means a direct fit as advertised! Bought for a 1998 c1500 single cab short bed and not only do you have to cut a large portion of the bed support off, also had to drill 2 new holes since the holes don't line up to the holes in the frame. Then you have to build a holder for the emergency brake cable or tge emergency brake will not work anymore. Unless you want to spend 3x as long as the install should take don't buy these!
