How to do to Prolong the Service Life?
Clean the surface and the gaps
Make sure the place is dry and without water.
Wipe with a adhesion aid cotton sheets
Wipe the surface with the adhesive aid cotton sheet we provided before use for longer life.
Press the sealing strip firmly
The pre-groove design can effectively handle 90-degree rectangular walls, and the tight fit of the wall can extend the life of the sealing tape.
Heat the tapes
Tear off the film on the back of the sealing tape and heat it for a few minutes to increase the viscosity.

I thought this would be the same as the one I used bought from a local hardware store a long time ago but it's not. The adhesive is too thin (looks like arts & crafts double-sided tape thin and not even like a foam tape) and I don't think it will fill in any irregularities on a surface you'll installing it to. The old one that I'm replacing had a more like modern caulk compound for adhesive so it did the job of tubed caulk only easier to install. I would say that this product is more a PVC Tape than a Caulk Tape (though manufacturer got that covered by putting both terms on the description and say "I told you so"). I would return it but I already cut it to lengths. 2 stars instead of 1 in case I might need a PVC tape for aesthetic purposes and they did give me 4 rolls of tape for cheap that I don't have use for, at least for now.

Sticky tape didn't peel off well so sticky in some parts and absolutely not sticky in others. Hard to make it look nice on corners. Peeled off and just threw it away. Waste of money.

Out of the box the quality of the product is firm and useful. But the peel of cover for the sticky part wouldn’t peel off properly. I had such a hard time using it. I would probably skip this product if i had to buy this again. It took me an extra couple of hours just to be able to remove the back peel off and be able to use this. I had that tacky glue on my hands for a whole day it wouldn’t come off. Ugh

Its easier , not better than wet chalking so only if you cant use tube chalking get this stuff , some times the backing separates with the sticky side on the paper not the molding , getting 100% use out a strip without splicing is hard , if you can get the seam tight its ok , looks good with no mess
