Didn't realize it came with 8 of the rubber caps, that was nice, fit is good and tight, finish is nice, only had them on for a couple weeks so we'll see how they hold up.

I was surprised that there were extra rubber plugs with these. That's what went bad in my old caps so I almost just replaced them. I installed these with on my Dawson 5000lb trailer using a deadblow hammer. The old caps were really awful looking and I think might have been painted black at some point. These look nice and will likely outlast the trailer if I don't lose any.

These caps are good replacements for a Big Tex trailer with 3000 lb Dexter axles. They simply press fit. A dead blow hammer works great for installing these without damaging them. I like that there is an extra set of replacement rubber covers. Rubber covers tend to dry rot and crack after about a year of use. I use my trailer 5 days a week for hundreds of miles each day. Keeping the bearings greased every few months is important to the longevity of the trailer. I have also replaced the shackle bolts with grease-able ones. These are a nice generic replacement for OEM. 4 stars.This is my detailed interpretation of the 5 stars rating system and reflects what each star means to me in my review.1 Star - Highly Not Recommended. Just a cap made to look like a bearing buddy, no zert fitting just rubber plug. Should have left stock cap on and saved $12.00
