This stepladder is taller and slimmer than the average step ladder. It's lightweight and easy to move around the house, making it convenient for quick tasks like changing a light bulb or retrieving a light item from a high cupboard etc.However, due to its narrow frame, light aluminum construction, and riveted joints, to me it feels somewhat flimsy. The higher you climb, the more unstable it becomes, making it prone to tipping. However, I HAVE used it several times and found it quite useful, but I only feel comfortable using it with something nearby to hold onto for stability.If you're using the third step, I strongly recommend steadying yourself with something nearby. I would not use this ladder in open spaces without support, nor would I ever step on the top step!A handy tool for light indoor use—but not one to trust for heavy-duty tasks or situations requiring maximum stability.

As a shorter family, we are always in need of extra steps around the house. This step stool is just light enough and collapses into a size perfect for us to move around when we need it. It seems to be very durable and stays in place whenever we are using it. I've used it to help me paint upper walls and to finally be able to reach the shelf above the refrigerator.

Very sturdy step stool with steps that are deeper than most for additional security. Lightweight and folds up for easy storage. Just what I needed to reach the top shelves of my kitchen cupboards.

Ladder is made of plastic material. It is not metal. Still pretty sturdy to stand on. Folds well. Width is perfect for my needs. Easy to move from one area to another.
