In the photo it had fret marks and it came WITH NONE! Other then than it’s ok but frets are very important!! It clean and light but it’s bad.

First the good news: This is a GREAT bass in the end.Now the bad news: You're going to have to do some work and pay some more money over the initial purchase price to get it there.Friend, you'll have to know what you're doing here because the manufacturer doesn't. They're pretty clueless when it comes to doing business in America.First, even though this is advertised and shown as a "GStyle" brand bass, it's not, it's a Tario - yes, the same black Tario fretless bass that you will find being sold in other Amazon listings for less money because you don't have to pay for shipping if you have Amazon Prime.Second, despite how it's presented in the product pictures, the neck does not, I repeat NOT, have fretlines. That was only a problem for me in that I ordered this "GStyle" bass rather than the Tario bass to GET the fretlines. This was a major disappointment at first.Third, the edge dot markers are off. It appears that they simply took an unslotted fretted bass neck and called it "fretless". The problem when you do that is that the edge markers will be BETWEEN the notes as if the frets were still there rather than ON the notes - which is how they are on TRUE fretless bass necks. This will require a trip to your tech (and some additional money) to rectify. Until then the bass will be unplayable if you (like most fretless players) depend on them to find the notes on the neck.Fourth, the factory setup was garbage: The nut was a high-action fretted bass nut instead of a low-action fretless nut; the action was ridiculously high out of the box, and; the factory-installed strings were junk. All this was fixed by my tech for yet another additional cash outlay. I went with Elixir resin-coated bass strings and I recommend them - they are fantastic sounding and won't chew up the neck even though they're round-worn.So tack on $215 US Dollars on top of the initial purchase price for tech work, then $45 US for the new Elixir strings and you'll have a Warwick quality bass at a Harley Benton price. This bass is fantastic now. The tuners, bridge, and pickups are great and it's now not just playable but extremely playable. My last recommendation would be that you purchase the Tario black fretless bass so you don't have to complain to the seller about the needless shipping fees. Yes, they did refund them but it was a hassle. In the end, I love this bass. However, out of the box I hated it. So hang in there, this instrument is well worth the extra time, effort, and money to get there, but once you do you will love it!Just know what you're buying and what to expect in advance. I hope this helps!5-Stars for a great bass in the end.1-Star markdown for all the additional time, money, and effort I had to invest to get it there.

Changed out strings because the ones that come with it suck. Other than that, it plays well and has a good sound. For the price it's a really good fretless bass

Great bass for the money. Had similar and would compare to Yamaha or Peavey. Pickups are awesome.

You get whst you pay for and this fretless bass is about as cheap as you can go if yiu know how to setup the neck angle, change tuners and replace cheap plastic nut. The fret board "seems" to be ok. My recommendation is to save up and get a better fretless bass than this junk.

i bought this beautiful bass not really thinking it would be a keeper. A 40+year pro bassist, I know value. Also make P&J basses, Strats/Teles. This is the real deal. I ebanol neck is hard and fast. The tones round and beautiful. OK, the pickups could be better, but hey...this is an under $150 class instrument. It's light (I'm 73 with a bad back). It's a joy to play, right out of the box. Man, if they're all like this, Gstyle is doing something right...actually A LOT right. Bravo, a pure pro instrument for such a low price? How do you do it? I'm stoked. Hell, I'd buy another one if I needed it. Went to a jam the other night and one of the collector/guitarist I play with regularly goes, Hey, can I get another color? I said Why, he goes, I don't want like I'm copying you. I said, No...just black. He said, works for me. He told me he's buying one and bring it to the next jam and we're doing "dueling basses"...And that's how good it is! Thank you!
