We got this for my co worker’s car that has a parasitic draw on his car’s amp. The amp works perfectly but even when it’s off it started to have a small power draw causing the car to have a dead battery of the car is not used for a couple of weeks so we got this and hooked it up in-line the power wire and uses it as a switch for the amp

I installed this on a boat stereo. Did a very clean and precise installation following installation instructions. Appeared to work fine until it didn't. Of course, it never tripped during all that time. It simply stopped working. Frustrating. It sets properly but let's no current through.I would not purchase this product again,

I just use it mostly as an on off switch but it also opens if too much current is drawn from the battery. great product!
