Such a great price on these spice jars! They have one side for shake and one side for pour on the screw on top. Perfect for our family recipe for all purpose seasoning that we give out at Xmas!

I use these to put ground pepper in for local sales and personal use. These are my preferred size and design. These have a wide lid and isn't greatly tapered from top to bottom. The design is best suited for our labels. The average weight with eachfull of ground pepepr is 2.8 oz.

Purchased these nifty spice "jars" for composing a spice kit for my college freshman grandson. Unfortunately, about 30% of all the plastic lids for these 40 plastic "jars" did not close tightly, with a"snap". I did not need all 40 jars, so I now have a bag of 12+ to use for glitter or something that doesnot need to be kept relatively air-tight. The trial and error process is a bit tedious. A bit disappointed, only with the fold-up lids that do not snap shut.
