Size guideline for Purrdy Paws cat nail caps

Purrdy Paws are Safe and Easy to Apply

  1. Trim your cat's nails - kitten claws do not need to be trimmed.
  2. Than try on the nail cap, without glue, to ensure a proper fit; it should fit snugly.
  3. Once you have the correct size, simply fill each nail cap 1/3 of the way full with the provided adhesive with applicator tip, and gently slide the cap onto the nail.
  4. Finally observe your cat for 5 minutes until the adhesive sets and you're done !

Share your cat's pictures with everyone you know and show off how great they look !

Each application of nail caps lasts approximately 4-6 weeks until your cat naturally sheds their nail.

The nail caps are extremely safe and non-toxic. Even if your cat swallows one, no harm will come. The nail cap will safely pass through the digestive system.

Purrdy Paws will not affect your cat from retracting their nails.

Find the Purrfect Fit with our Size Guides

Kitten Size: Less than 6 months old
These will fit most kittens by the time they reach the age of 16 weeks (4 months). Some kittens can wear them as early as age 12 weeks (3 months). To test, try a nail cap on first without the adhesive. If it looks too big, don't glue it on. The nail cap should fit snugly, like a glove. Kitten nails do not need to be trimmed.
Small: Approximately 6 months old -- Approximately 6-8 pounds
Some kittens at 5 months may need the small size if they are growing fast or are large-breed cats.
Small-boned adult cats often wear the small size. If your cat seems smaller than an average full-grown cat, choose small.
Medium: Approximately 9-13 pounds
Most adult average size cats wear medium.
Large: Approximately 14 pounds and up
Very large-boned and large-breed cats wear large.

These are a great option to declawing. They also look really nice. I always get compliments on my kittens claws. I can do these alone but my cats allow me to mess with their paws. I have had to ease them into it to start but now it's like they don't notice at all. Once I get the full set on, I just replace them as they fall off so my cat doesn't have to sit there longer than necessary.

Had to trim the base of them so they’d fit on my 12 lb cat. The glue is super strong but somehow she still pulled most of them off within a few days. Not really worth it.

They're wonderful if you can keep fluffy still long enough to get them on lol

They didn't stick well to my cat's claws. The glue didn't hold well but did some.

Cannot figure out the poor reviews on this brand! Kitty is SO rough on her nails. And, yeah, I doo have to replace them once in a while bc she innately doesn't want them on there (she's a cat! ). But Ive tried several brands including the ones from the pet store and for the most part, these simply GROW out. AND I love that I can hear her coming:) *Click..click..click*

Good product if your cat likes to scratch the furniture. Easy to apply and fall off with the natural shedding of the nail.

I'm a professional groomer and these honestly do work great. I do think most instances of them coming off quickly is an issue of operator error rather than an issue with the product. Go slow, use PLENTY of glue, and keep your cat off his or her feet for at least 5 minutes after applying the last nail cap!

I was hoping this would work. It is under half the price of the "brand" name. The glue is worthless, at least for my cat. It just doesn't stick . I had to use the glue from the brand name and even then, they just didn't stick. I had to go back to the more expensive brand name.It was a waste of money, but parcel was opened so I didn't bother trying to return it - I just won't buy again. I'm confused by the positive reviews, because this wouldn't stick to a single claw - maybe I had a bad batch, but I won't risk another purchase just to find out.

Arrived on time look cute but don’t last as long as suggested. Lost 2 in as many days half gone by one week and only 2 left by week 2

Thanks to these we will be buying new furniture our cats won't ruin! They look adorable, don't seem to bother the cats at all & are a very affordable alternative to barbaric de clawing.

These work great if your cat isn't obsessed with their claws. I have two cats. One cat is not too finicky about her nails, she just likes to sharpen them and easily gets them accidentally caught on things. I put them on her with the supplied glue and they stayed on for at least a month! My other cat loves to keep his nails super sharp and scratch the crap out of things... he immediately started chewing/biting them nonstop and had all of them off within 24 hours. Depends on your cat, but worked great for my non-psychotic cat.

Bought these for our kitten to protect out leather furniture. Mission accomplished. He does manage to chew one or two off every couple of weeks. But these are so easy to apply it is no big deal re applying. So cute my girls lovethat their kitty has pretty sparkly nails.
