This is my third unit. Bought a 100A and a 200A model the first time. One works fine, other unit (200A model that apparently doesn't exist anymore) just stopped working out of nowhere. Bluetooth stopped showing the device, and the display stopped updating. It was stuck at 12%. I've reset it, rewired it, cleaned it, replaced the display wire, nothing worked. Bought this third unit and it immediately doesn't work. Didn't work straight out the box.Problems I've noticed so far: (and the list keeps growing)It's a 400A kit with a 400A shunt but the manual is for a 200A model and the display won't let me set it higher than 100A (which means the display or brain is from a 100A model).Temperature sensor says it's -9°c outside on an 85°f (29°c) day and can't be calibrated.Discharge current reading extremely inaccurate. Says something like 6A discharge when BMS says it's discharging at something like 20A.Charge current reading extremely inaccurateKwh reading not countingWatt reading not countingGraphs not populatingHistory not recordingWhat I'm guessing is happening is someone bought this unit then returned it because of a problem, probably with the temp sensor, then the seller mismatched parts to make a full kit not realizing they need to be paired with specific parts to work, and then resold it as if it was a new unit. The sticker on the package says "new", but it is 100% definitely not new. When I booted it up for the first time it had perameters already set. Like 400AH for the battery capacity. And a few other things. This doesn't happen when it's brand new. Someone manually programmed this unit. The seller didn't even bother factory resetting it before fraudulently reselling it as new.2 stars because when these units work they are awesome. My first one was amazing until it stopped working. Very good battery monitors. But obviously when you buy things they have to function as intended. And this new unit does not.

Nice color screen, I can't get it to change front Celsius to Fahrenheit but maybe I haven't figured it out.

Shame on me for not individually testing the unit before installing in my system, but cannot get the main unit to function. Attempted various forms of requesting support prior to this review. Will happily re-review the unit if I can get help to get it functioning.

I've bought 2 now and the app rocks along with all the features. Best shunt I've found and does alot for the price. Better than the victron stuff

After using a cheaper round monitor for two years, this monitor is a Huge upgrade. The review saying that it doesn't adjust to the battery level is just ignorance. If you have a battery you should know how many Amp hours it is and you can program it to that. It has worked great for me for a year now and is very accurate with the battery level. Buy this monitor and you won't regret it.

First, the leads from the controller to the sampler are only 6 inches long which means the controller has to be installed in the battery compartment, which is in most cases exposed to the elements, (water, dust).Second, why have a 36 inch lead on the battery temperature sensor when you can only mount the controller 6 inches from the sampler.Third, if the product in to be used on motor home the RS485 cable from the controller to the display should be 25 feet and not 15 feet.

So I doesn’t “detect” anything it asks you to guess your battery Capacity And then just assume how much is left charged in the capacity and it will predict from what is being drawn your remaining battery life so if you don’t know anything about your battery or how much capacity is left this is not the product for you and from the different estimations by and put it into the settings for battery remaining time was way off every time and never corrected itself and was probably not a big deal but the temperature gauge is in Celsius and is not moving at all even though the temperature is fluctuating in my camper quite a bit the app and the read out screen don’t show the same things Like the cheap little wall monitor is better than the app which only works within Bluetooth range :( Plus with how small and flimsy everything is I’m going to have to go with 1 star out of 10 might change my review later if the readouts change
