Over the years I've probably changed a dozen of these. Most people don't know that when their heat or a/c stops working it is very likely this transformer.If your digital thermostat goes blank, then your transformer or the fuse going to it has probably blown. Replacing this transformer if generally very easy since it has slip off, slip on spade lugs.This particular transformer is heavy and well made and should last a life time.
