Doubt it's 40 kgs but it is definitely plenty of kgs for any RC car or truck the average consumer will put it in.

This servo has torque! Using it in a 1/10 scale crawlers with 170mm OD tires, servo has no issues turning on rocks. It is not the fastest, but provides enough torque for leisure crawling sessions.

This was listed as a 180 degree servo. I only got 155 degree.

Amazing servo for the price. Great for crawlers, bashers, touring cars and stadium trucks. Well made with solid construction. Powerful, smooth and quiet! I've used a lot of different brands of digital servos, and many are noisy - they chatter or whine at neutral position, and are noisy in operation. Aluminum center section, metal gears and a thicker than usual power/signal cord (thicker than the other brands) along with a 25T adjustable metal servo arm and an accessory bag completes this deal! You can't go wrong here!

good basic servo. I wouldnt use this for racing or anything, but for bashing, or cars that wont be used to race, its great!

If you are into RC cars, you go through a lot of servos and this is a great replacement servo for the price. These aren't the fastest servos so if you are looking to race competitively you should look elsewhere, but for most of us they are plenty fast. The servo is strong as well so it is great for RC crawlers. If you are looking for something stronger or to upgrade a not so good servo (lots of RTR cars come with poor quality servos) this is a great option for the price.

Another great budget servo from DS Servo. Everyone by now probably has heard of or has a few of the 20kg DS Servos in their RCs. Well they have this 40kg one with even more torque and a good budget price to go with it. If you're already familiar with the 20kg version, this is the same but with more torque. Good strong budget servo that is good enough for most applications.
