All my lawn and garden tools and most of my small power tools are Black & Decker brand. Half are 20V, and the rest are 40V. When I brought out my weed eater and leaf blower in spring, I realized I misplaced my 40V charger. Of course, I have three for my 20V batteries! I purchased this replacement without really knowing how it would work out. I didn't need to worry. It was delivered within 2 days of ordering and worked like a charm. I'll have two if/when I find the one I misplaced. It's worth the money spent.

This charger far exceeded the little worthless one included with my weed eater and blower! It fully charged my batteries without flashing red mid way through! I recommend this if you have this type of battery!

I had a 40 V Black and Decker weed eater, tried to charge the battery and the indicator light rapidly flashed red. This means the battery is bad per the instructions. Bought a cheaper generic battery , this too would not charge so I took a chance and bought this charger. Price was reasonable and quickly arrived. It successfully charged both the original battery and the replacement battery. I can't vouch for the longetivity as I have only had it a short time but it works fine for now.
