There are many different springs for reclining chairs, make sure you measure current spring at rest position and search for chair of couch manufacturers name. These springs were perfect fit, my chair has two different springs.Exact fit and superior quality, great price!!

We purchase a smaller spring that would have been perfect but as seniors we don't have the hand strength to attach it properly. This fits, it just doesn't hold up the leg rest as well.

I've tried a number of springs to fix the footrest support for my recliner. Most are hard to install, and the recent ones I used were perhaps too wide. They worked to a degree but since the width pushed them into the frame parts it may be the reason they broke recently. I've ordered these as they are a better width and seem to be easier to install than the fatter version, I used last. It works and I'm hopeful this one will last a lot longer than the last one. For now, this is a strong recommend since it's made for recliners, it may last a long time. If not, I'll revisit this review.

The original spring on my favorite recliner has broken at least three times now and each time I have been able to bend the broken end into a hook and re-attach it to get a few more months of service out of it. This time I figured I better find a replacement spring instead since my last repair on lasted about a month. i found these which were a little different in design (2nd picture) but were about the correct length for my chair. When these arrived I realized that these are made of a lighter gauge wire than the original spring but they were the right length and with a little effort I was able to install one and had my recliner working like it was supposed to. Unfortunately that only lasted for a little over 24 hours. The spring had stretched to the point that it was able to pop out of the holes the hooks were inserted into and the spring fell loose onto the floor beneath the chair.I mounted the spring in place again and this time I used a pair of pliers to bend the hooks over so that they cannot pop out of the holes. Hopefully this will last awhile this time but these are definitely not as heavy duty as I had hoped they were. At least my recliner is working again for now and I still have another spring to install if this one breaks.

These worked great for the replacement of the broken springs in an old recliner. Just make sure you measure the spring length before you order, there are several different lengths.
