As usual pictures can’t provide the real product for close inspection/review first of all I ordered this bag based on the size, description, and the visual picture provided so I’m not really wanting to give this item a bad review but it just didn’t fit my motorcycle traveling needs. The piece itself seem of good quality/make but it just doesn’t work for my needs, so since I’m returning and never used it I cannot give it more than 3 stars.

Works well for a couple of day trips. Plenty of room for everything I needed. Fit perfect on the storage rack of my Indian Chieftain. Easy on easy off. That about cover's it.

More of a review of their entire product line rather than just this bag, but CH makes perfect bags for any purpose, especially for motorcycle trips. No one really makes bags for my HD - it has a very unique design form factor, so most HD friendly brands don't mount or aren't secure enough. This bag mounted directly above the CH saddle bags were perfect for my cross country trip, and they carry a ton of cargo without budging an inch. Perfect.

The material was a bit of a surprise when I got it. Better than expected. I over packed it on my first road trip with out opening the expansions on the sides. Visiting distilleries means you need room to add bottles. The zippers were a bit of a struggle to close when over packed but once closed, took it just fine.I didn’t test how well it kept water out. Seems good in a pinch but I wouldn’t risk it in any heavy rain. The material looks fine but the zippers might let some through. The rubbery bottom helps a lot on the back seat of a bike.It didn’t come with a shoulder strap. It does have the connectors so just pulled an old Nike one and it worked great.Very happy with it for the price and would buy another

I drive a Honda VFR800 Interceptor. Because the Chase Harper magnetic Tank Bag has held up so well for me I said I would like to have their Tail Bag to match it. I have not used this bag much, but I trust the material and workmanship in the tank bag and all the zippers do their zippin' with no fuss. Wash it down with warm water and soap and it looks brand new. Use Zip bags for important documents. The Tail Bag may have the same personality.

... and no one likes that, specially in today's environment. To be fair, the item was never advertised as NEW, but a customer always expects a new item unless otherwise indicated. A resealed product such as this, should be identified as such and marked down accordingly to offer the customer some degree of satisfaction. As a retailer, that's what I would do. As a customer, that's what I expect. See pictures.Having said the bad, the good is that the bag is of quality, sturdy construction. It expands considerably at the ends to double the capacity and store sneakers or dirty laundry. It is of a very bright red color, increasing visibility in traffic. I plan on using it for motorcycle camping trips, if the COVID ever lets down!Overall I am satisfied and recommend the product. I am not related in any way to the manufacturer or the seller, nor do I receive any compensation for my review.

This bag has STORAGE! It is super easy to install in your bike and has a lot of storage. This can be zipped to a small compact suitcase. Im able to fit a weeks work that of clothes (minus the shoes) my electronics, and my toiletries all in the middle compartment, and then I can fit my medication, sunblock, and more in the side zippers! This is a must buy for cruisers, touring bikes, and even sport bikes that plan on packing extra storage!

I like Chase Harper bags, I have a handful of them and they've all gotten pretty good use. What you see is what you get, they are roomy and pretty much bullet proof without the useless (to me) water bottle holders and key pockets. I like the lack of internal structure, I can strap the bags down flat when they are empty, YMMV. My biggest critique would be the tiny zippers, they are not matched to the stiffness of the material and can be a chore to zip open/closed. Some of my CH bags are 10 years old, and the zippers are still as difficult to use today as the day I got the bags.
