Nice quality set of set screws. I always drop these things then have to go to the hardware store ro gat another one. Not anymore. This is great if you're a garage guy. Or even a r/c hobby person. For $10 to avoid slow downs this is golden!

This set will be a perfect addition to my collection of household repair kits. This is not the type of kit you would find in a mechanic garage or machine shop, but more for fixing towel holders and door knobs. Most of the set is made up of some pretty small sizes.Pros: This set is a combination of the most common sizes of metric and SAE thread pitches. They come in multiple diameters and lengths. MAKE sure you don't lose the sizing paper on the top of the box. The set screws in the set are made of stainless steel and come with the appropriate hex keys in both metric and SAE.Cons: The box is a bit thin, and the latch doesn't hold very well. I can already imagine this set spilled all over the floor.

This is yet another of those little accessory boxes that I have in my special drawer.While a lot of folks don't stop to notice, the humble hex screw, aka Allen Set Screw, is a common and essential part of a lot of devices' operation. Towel holders and racks, doorknobs, robotic equipment like home 3D printers and CNC machines, electric guitars and amplifiers - the list goes on and on. They ALL have in common the presence of hex set screws. Whether it is a control knob, a junction shaft or motor pulley, or a retaining set screw for a wall bracket, these Allen Set Screws a pretty ubiquitous, and yet not very appreciated.Just try losing one. You'll quickly discover that finding the correct replacement is both important and not as easy as you might have imagined.So for me this assortment was a no-brainer. I already have a bin with quite a few of these, but having a fresh and full assortment has already proved to be a time saver. I replaced several that were corroded, and a couple that were simply missing.This kit is typical, and well labeled. The sets are stainless steel and the dimensions and threads are accurate.One tip - NEVER EVER SPILL IT or you will never get them sorted back out.Five stars, a winning kit for every handywoman!

This is a perfect set of set screws (also known as grub screws). I use them from applications on my motorcycle, lawn equipment, specific watches to just about every household item we own. Especially useful on plumbing, faucets, unique piece of furniture, refrigerators, washers and dryers. In addition I do some metal fabrication. The variety of sizes ensures you’ll have the right size when you need it most. For me, the set is particularly useful because, without fail, I’m always losing the smallest of set screws… nothing is more annoying when losing and looking for that one screw when you need to get the job done. This collection saves the hassles and headaches of find that perfect little grub screw!

I have a number of items around the shop and home that require these - tools, machines, etc. - and they're so tiny I'm always dropping them in the dust. So it's good to have a supply of replacements on hand. This is a great kit, and contains just about every (small) size you could need, in all of the common metric and SAE sizes. They come in a plastic organizing box with a tight fitting lid, so the parts won't intermingle when the lid is closed and the box dropped or shaken. It even comes with an assortment of all the metric and SAE allen wrenches you'll need. The allen wrenches don't have the size marked on them, though, so I took a permanent marked and put different color markings on the SAE and metric ones. Good buy!
