I purchased the Glowells 4500 Sq.ft Dehumidifier for my basement, and it has completely exceeded my expectations! It started pulling moisture out of the air immediately, and within a few hours, the space already felt drier and fresher. I love the fact that it has both a water tank and a drain hose option – I set it up for continuous drainage and haven’t had to worry about emptying the tank since. The smart humidity control works great – I just set it to 45% and it maintains the level perfectly. It’s also Energy Star rated, so I feel good about energy efficiency. The unit is surprisingly quiet for its size, and the wheels make it super easy to move around. Setup was quick and intuitive. If you need a powerful and reliable dehumidifier for a large space, this one is worth every penny. I’d definitely buy!

After years of dealing with musty smells and clammy air in my basement, I finally decided it was time to get serious about humidity control. This dehumidifier has been a total game changer. It’s compact but incredibly efficient, and it made a noticeable difference within the first day of use.One of the things I appreciate most is how smart this unit is. It actually monitors the humidity and shuts off when it reaches the set level, then kicks back on when needed. I don’t have to constantly fiddle with it or worry about it running all day unnecessarily. Plus, the power-off memory feature is a great touch — I’ve already had a brief power outage and it started back up like nothing happened. The ultra-quiet design is also a big win. I placed it near my living area, and even on the highest setting, it’s barely noticeable. It hums along softly like white noise, so it doesn’t interrupt conversations or sleep. And despite being so quiet, it pulls an impressive amount of moisture from the air — up to 52 pints a day — making it perfect for large spaces like my basement.I also love the flexibility of the three different modes and the included drain hose. I usually keep it on DEHU mode for everyday use, but DRY mode came in handy when I had some damp laundry that needed a quick dry. Between the easy mobility, stylish design, and energy savings, this unit checks all the boxes. If you're tired of damp, sticky air and want something that actually works without being a noisy eyesore, this dehumidifier is well worth it.

This is a great dehumidifier. It is well designed.. But be aware that a strong machine is going to be heavy. This is 36 pounds. But the handle is very handy and it rolls well. So these offset that a bit. But most importantly, it works. Like many people, I have a moisture problem in the basement. I need a dehumidifier to solve that problem. Most importantly, I wanted a unit that drained by itself. I had one without an automatic pump to drain it and it required going down the basement every two days to empty the water bucket which was really annoying. My recommendation is if you're shopping for a dehumidifier, definitely buy one that at least will allow the water to drain out for you (or if you can afford it, one that pumps the water out into a sink is even better, especially if you do not have a floor drain in your basement) . This unit will require a nearby floor drain if you want it to drain automatically.. There are units that will actually pump the water into a sink. But they are a bit more expensive. Let me be clear, this unit does not pump the water out into a sink. It will only drain it to the floor. So you need to have a floor drain in the basement, otherwise you have to use the bucket. But The features of this unit are very good. I can set a humidity level and forget about it. I Just got the unit this year and we haven't hit the high humidity temperatures of the Summer yet, so I cannot fully evaluate its efficiency.at this time. But I'm optimistic and so far please with the machine.

I recently bought the 52 Pints Energy Star Dehumidifier for my basement, and it has been a great investment. It works perfectly for large rooms, and with a capacity to handle up to 4500 sq. ft., it’s been more than enough for my needs. The dehumidifier effectively reduces moisture, preventing that musty smell and dampness that tends to build up in basements. The smart humidity control feature is fantastic because it automatically adjusts based on the room’s humidity levels, which means I don’t have to fiddle with settings constantly. It also has an auto defrost function, which helps prevent the unit from freezing up in cooler environments—something I didn’t know I needed but now can’t live without. The drain hose is a huge bonus, as I don’t have to manually empty the water tank frequently, making it hassle-free to use over time. It's also surprisingly quiet, which I really appreciate, especially for a larger dehumidifier. My only minor complaint is that it’s a bit bulky, so finding the right spot for it took some thought. But once it’s in place, it works like a charm.Overall, this dehumidifier is perfect for larger spaces like basements or big rooms. It’s energy-efficient, easy to use, and does an excellent job at removing excess moisture. Highly recommend it for anyone dealing with humidity issues!
