The latch was easy to replace, once you figure out how to remove the inside tailgate cover. It is best to buy a few panel removal tools so no damage to your panel. Latch was exactly like my defective old latch. I did apply grease to the moving exterior parts.

It was an easy install. It fits and is better then how we had it tied down until we found this park. Only issue is that the wire is a little long and we can't figure out how to shorten it so that we can open without climbing over the backseat
