Very similar to power pole connectors. Silver plated contacts that are crimpable or solderable. Various possibilities for combining two or more connectors into a mul-ticonductor connector. Provided silicone covers are designed to combine two connectors to make one assembly. The two connectors can be connected to form a polarized assembly to avoid mixing up power and ground.

Little kit looks really good and has all the wires and adapters and pieces you would need to build. I really like that the positive and negative are separate but can also be attached together almost like legos. Comes with a plastic shroud as well to help isolate. The kit and the pieces are much smaller than I thought they would be in person but they look like they can handle 25 amps easily but I would be a little cautious trying to push 45A.

These are “similar-to” versions of the popular Powerpole® connectors. The crimp terminals are constructed nicely and are made of silver-plated copper. These are designed for 14, 12 or 10 AWG wire, with the 45A rating applicable only for the largest gauge wire. The black and red nylon housings can be locked together with their side wedges to form a solid + and – connector combination. Kit comes with 20 contact terminals that can accommodate 10 AWG wire, 10 each, black and red housings, and 10 flexible PVC black covers that are made to cover a tandem power connection. Pictures show a prepped 14 AWG wire ready for crimping into the terminal. These terminals require a special crimper designed for these terminals.Side note: On the product page, it shows the “Gauge” as 45 and the “Stud Size” as #2, neither of which is correct. The gauge is 10-14 and they don’t connect to a stud. They only mate for these connectors is to other connectors of a similar type, never to a stud.Overall, this kit is reasonably priced, and the build quality is solid.Powerpole® is a trademark of Ideal Industries, Inc.

I’ve used Anderson style power connectors on several of my projects and they are now my go to connector type. The increased current capacity and ease of plugging in/out makes them especially nice. I prefer using them with flexible OFC Silicone AWG 12 wire. The connectors are keyed and lock into each other side by side, a pin can be used to reinforce this connection. I was able to use a standard large non ratcheting crimper to crimp the lugs onto the wire. The lugs have a positive snap when pressed into the plastic housing. The connector for both male and female is the same just flipped. I recommend watching a quick video on crimping these before attempting it. Overall I highly recommend these connectors. 5/5

YearYoung 45A Modular Power Connectors Quick Disconnect KitThese are a good product for the price. They are clones of the popular Anderson connectors that lock together and separate easily. The boots are a little tight but you want that. It will take a little motivation to get them over the ends but fit well. You will want a proper crimper for these which will make the install much easier. The case is nice in case you want them for a field box.

I do a lot of DIY electrical projects. I own an older Jeep Wrangler, and I have all sorts of little projects going on it. LED pods, light strips, an audio system, just all sorts of toys. I use a lot of connectors, and I'm always looking for what works best for any situation, so when I saw these I had to give them a try.These are really interesting little connectors. They attach to each other by little sliding tabs, so you can build them into any number of connectors you would need for that plug. This is really cool as you aren't limited to using plugs with a fixed number of wires. I've stacked several together and they plugged into an equal size plug. It's really neat.Overall I'm pretty happy with these little plugs. They offer a unique way of creating on-the-fly connectors with any number of wires that you need. I love things that offer customization like this, so I'm going to spend some time trying these out and seeing what I can build with them. I can't vouch for them being waterproof, I haven't tested it, though I would think more "splash resistant" than anything else.

I would be extremely hesitant to run 45 amp through these, but they are your basic Anderson connectors. They are compatible with all of the other Anderson connectors of this size that I have. I would say they’re more suited for about 15 to 20 amp.

These work exactly like they should, but pay attention! This style is a crimp style when connecting to your wire, not the barrel style. Make sure you have the tool necessary to crimp.If you have that, these are great. They don't deform and fit into the housings easily but solidly.No complaints at all! Great connectors at a great price!
