How to use the bore sight?
1.Unscrew the back cap from the bore sight by turning counter clockwise.
2.Insert batteries (+ side up) inside the rear opening
3. Turn the screw cap clockwise to tighten the cap (the laser is now on).
4.Place bore sight in your rifle’s chamber carefully and close the bolt.
5.To remove - open the bolt if it does not automatically extract, manually remove the unit by tilting the rifle’s barrel upward (always practicing safe firearm practices).
6.Unscrew the back and remove the batteries to turn the bore sight off .

The O-rings on this hold it centered in the barrel. I was able to accurately line up my optic, laser and iron sights where I wanted them. Another much more popular model without O-rings was off my several inches at 50’. This bore sight also ejects properly and was a couple of bucks cheaper. It’s a keeper.

this is a very easy to use boresight , it fits my colt perfectly . the light is plenty bright in bright daylight .

My sights were slightly off but I was able to adjust my aim. After a simple adjustment using this bore sighter I can now hit wherever I want at will with super accuracy.I have added a laser sight to my 45 ACP which the bore sighter ensured is set perfectly.You only need to use this occasionally, but if you do not have one, you could miss at a critical moment.

Indoors these are remarkable for basic setup of iron sights And Green laser sights. So, I took it to the range with me, where I kept asking like a fool, can you have seen my laser sight down range. Down range meaning approximately 25 meters. Fresh batteries. Very disappointed. If anyone out there is wanting this for range duty, it's absolutely worthless. If there is one, I would try and find a Green lensrd Sldo, l,]]]

Used it at 25 yards early in the morning and it gave a good dot on the target. From there, using a small vice, I was able to put my dot directly on it so that the first round was on paper and very close to the center. With the price of ammo these days, you save enough to pay for the boresight first use, especially if you own multiple .45s you need to zero. I'm super happy with this, although with all these small batteries they are super painful to put in so I tape them together so they slide right in without a problem. I really like this tool.

Great for basic sighting, feels like a solid brass cartridge. Comes with spare batteries and extra O-rings. Other red dot sighters I have don't use the O-rings so unsure I like that these use them as would hate for them to break in the chamber and me not notice. I pulled them off and it still seems tight enough. Included instructions come with these stickers to put on the battery so you don't have to pull the batteries out to turn off. I prefer to pull the batteries out so if they corrode, then it won't harm anything....At this price, would get again.
