This thing is so realistic looking that I'm going to see if I can fool my Amish neighbors into thinking the new Bishop is paying them a visit! Double elastic straps hold it securely in place. Mustache may need to be trimmed up a bit if you want your mouth to show.

I got this beard because my husband has been joking that his beard will never go grey, so I wanted him to be able to see what that would look like, and partly for me to see what I (female) would look like if I had facial hair. This did not disappoint! It really looks like hair, and how it would grow from your face. And it was so fluffy it can actually conceal a real beard no problem! Whether you're wanting to live out your wizard or Santa fantasy, this is a great one to get. For the $15 price at the time of this review, this is an excellent addition to your costume!

Decent quality, surprisingly comfortable.I hate wearing anything strapped to my head, so I expected to ditch this beard halfway through the themed event that I wore it to. I made it the whole afternoon/evening with this thing on! I was able to briefly slip the face part completely below my chin to allow me to eat/drink (straws are always my best friend anyway LOL).The beard doesn’t look completely real - it’s exactly as pictured. At this price point, I expected worse. I consider this a great value, and I hung it with my wigs hoping to get a few more uses out of it.Solid costume accessory, would recommend!

FantaLooks' costume beard is surprisingly good for the price. For under $15, I was expecting something of dubious quality and an itchy wearing experience, but I did not get that here.With two elastic straps, the beard can be worn comfortably and securely. Having a dedicated part sculpted out for the mouth, with a dedicated "beard" part and "moustache" part, also goes a long way to making this much less of a chore to wear.You will want to pair this with a hat or wig, as the straps will stand out.The beard comes in a hair net for ease of storage, which is then put in a Ziploc bag. Much to my surprise, this keeps it from tangling or fraying, ensuring it will last for quite some time.

The color of this beard (I got the ginger one) is fantastic. This will make a fantastic dwarf costume.The hair itself feels OK - it's soft and pliable, but does feel a little plasticky. I haven't tried braiding it, but it seems flexible enough that you could. It does get a bit frizzy though.I like that it comes in a hairnet to keep it contained.The only problem I have is with the mustache. The beard has a great amount of hair, but the mustache is a bit thin. You have to style the mustache very carefully or you'll see some of the underlayment fabric that hold the hair in.The beard moves great, it's a lot of fun. This is easily the best fake beard that I've used.
