I've been using the old style blacklight ( kind from the 70s) but this one beats it hands down! However don't make my mistake by looking directly at the light,( who - boy) it will light up a room completely and my your uv paint and such glow like mad( especially if your projects glow in the dark! I really recommend it!!!

Why does the product not have a heat sink? This priduct is only a plastic tube and only half brightness left after 2 days. Very disappointed!

My daughter just learned about black lights and this one was perfect for her room. She has left it on all night several times and it never got hot.

It’s a good light for the price. Perfect for a 20 gallon tank or smaller. It does get warm so mounting should take this into consideration. Overall I’m satisfied with my purchase.

This product is really effective. I used for my Halloween display and the lights did an amazing job. Best part is they are light easy to use and don't require much space for storage. I highly recommend this product so much less cumbersome than the old 4 foot tubes I used in the past and less costly.
