Is what it says it is, and worked to fix my ~15 year old Washing Machine. The pump went out this time because something got stuck in the lint trap, they seem to last me about 3 years or so.. this is my third replacement of this pump... $20 plus some effort is much better than spending over a grand for a new washing machine.

Great pump and the price was 1/4 of what was listed by the mfg. Worked great. Would buy again if needed.

Suspected old pump was failing. Thought I would try this as it was not very expensive. Used YouTube to learn how to replace old pump with this new one - problem solved. No more loud , grinding-like noises from the machine. Water drains, and machine sounds, like before. Part worked very well, exact fit/replacement. Highly recommend.

i bought 3 of these in less than two months - not all from the same vendor - however, they're all the same pump so what i have to say applies to all 3, even being sold by different people.i replaced the original pump - the replacement didn't last two weeks, and that's with it being just me and my own laundry being done - no big family or anything.the second replacement is still working, but sounds like a jet engine being rev'd - the 3rd i have on a shelf ready to be installed once this second replacement croaks on me - and it will.not ONE of the motors gave out - not even the original, which was in the machine for about ten years.the problem isn't the motor itself, it's the plastic impeller and the way it's attached to the shaft - and the worst part of that is - it's not possible to fix it.on the original pump, the plastic impeller just wore out and finally became 'wobbly' on the shaft, which caused it to finally break away from the shaft and of course, not turn.the first replacement did fine - at first - and then after a matter of days, started getting loud, so i ordered another one from a different vendor because i knew the current one was doomed, and of course i was correct.before i installed the first replacement, i noticed the impeller was a bit "off" - wasn't spinning evenly, but since i needed the washer right then, i installed it. and it's not like it's a great big task to replace the pump, which is a good indication they knew it wouldn't last given the cheapness of the impeller and the inane way it's attached to the very tiny shaft.anyway - as previously stated, the motors are fine - they're all the same - the entire pump is the same no matter where you buy it. the problem lies with the impeller and how it's attached to the shaft, with no possible way to fix that part of it.this machine is "LG" - which as far as i'm concerned means; "Load of Garbage" - it's SO cheaply made for being SO expensive - over 2-grand for it, and have had nothing but problems with it - AND - making matters even WORSE - the "Ten Year Warranty" covers almost NOTHING - when i called a few years ago about the door gasket leaking, and plain to see the hose on the bottom of the gasket had torn the gasket itself, which of course is a design-flaw - they said the warranty will cover LABOR, but not the part.the gasket was going to cost me THREE-HUNDRED-DOLLARS from THEM - i found one online for 40.00 BRAND NEW, installed it and redesigned the hose on the bottom of the gasket, and it has never given me any more trouble.bottom line: they just don't make stuff like they used to...

This is the fourth time I have purchased this pump in the past 14 months. The original pump in my washer lasted for 5 years and 4 months (4 months past the extended warranty) This pump had failed due to water getting in to the motor. The first replacement pump lasted just under 4 months, actually 20 days past the end of the 3-month warranty, it failed when the impellor became detached from the drive shaft due to a crack in the impellor. The second pump lasted exactly 4 months and failed for the same reason as the first. I then ordered from a different seller. The third pump lasted 6 months and failed for the same reason as the first two. The impellor is the weak link and seems to fail due to a flaw in the impellor and how it is attached to the drive shaft. I have been unable to source a replacement pump anywhere else and at this point if this one fails again, I will be looking at the more expensive option of replacing the machine entirely, it is too much hassle to take it apart every 4-6 months to replace a faulty pump.

This is the third time I have replaced the pump in my LG washing machine. I am getting really good at this $25.00 fix to save a good machine! Pretty simple especially with You tube video to guide the process. Too bad they break so easily, but the rest of the machine has no issues!

What a terrible terrible cheap part. I ordered this in September of 2019. Replaced it and it worked fine until 2 days ago. I heard a weird noise coming from the bottom front of the washer and I noticed my washer wasn’t draining. I checked to make sure there were no kinks in the system or Nothing was stuck in it because I assumed no way the pump was bad again. Well I took the pump off and sure enough the fan blade had broke off and it wasn’t attached to the motor anymore. So upset over this that it lasted only 9 months and I have to replace it again. You truly get what you pay for. This was only $20 roughly and I’ll never buy it again. If you can afford it spend another 15-20 dollars to buy the OEM part. Hopefully this one last awhile.

Installation was a bit time consuming but pretty simple. I had a dryer stacked on top so that added a few more steps to the process. Removed top panel, control panel, front panel, door, several hoses and clamps and wires. There was ample working room to get it done. The hardest part was the spring loaded wire ring that holds the rubber door gasket on. It is a real art to get back on. You have to put it halfway on, then grab the spring and streach the spring to fit it over the rest. The pump/motor itself looked identical and ran its first cycle nicely so I know it fixed the issue. I also found a piece of a plastic in the hose so someone didnt check their pockets and Im sure that ruined the motor. It was only 4 years old and was making a clicking sound and not discharging water. The impeller was warped and no longer spun freely. Back up and running now.
