I use this for cemetery lettering. Saves me a trip to Barre, and probably $100.

This is a specialty adhesive product, basically a super strong double stick tape. It's for things like attaching a plate to a product. I would regard it as fairly permanent adhesion, with no chance of repositioning.

I like how strong the adhesive is, I like how easy it is to apply, and i like how easy the backer is to remove. I used this transfer adhesive to make a sign from 3mm plywood layers, and it sticks permanently, so be careful with your parts alignment, as when it sticks it don't want to come loose easily.I just rolled out some 3M 468MP transfer tape with the adhesive side up, and with dropped my plywood sheet on top, then cut the tape at the edge of the plywood. Then I flipped it over, rolled with a J roller, and laser cut the whole sheet. Next I painted the pieces, peeled the waxy backing off, and stuck the pieces onto my project. Works fantastic, it sticks like crazy. This is a great price for this transfer tape, and although it's the first time I used the 10mil 468MP, I have had excellent results with the 2mil 467MP over the past 20+ years of using it. A true 5 star value in both holding power, and price.

I was hoping the tube that this roll of tape was going to be on was going to be a little bit more robust but it's a lot thinner than expected. The roll is rather sizeable but it's not as large as I thought it would be. Giving me quite a bit of tape to work was initially, it's definitely not like an inch thick roll worth of product but I'm sure it'll do for what I need it for. The tape is secured properly and it doesn't seem to lift off of the protective backing at all. My only complaint is that the roll was slightly crushed and then it has nothing to stabilize the inner tube.

I do a lot of wood and resin art so when I came across this WEUPE 468MP Adhesive Transfer Tape, Bonding & Laminating, Clear, 12 in x 5 yds I was hoping it would work the way I needed it to.It arrived shrink-wrapped in a roll, it feels and states that it is the name brand 3M.It rolled out nicely without any wrinkles onto my project using a rubber brayer to apply. For those that don't know the difference between 467 and 468 as I have seen some reviewers mention it not working with their cutting machines. It doesn't have to do with the thickness of the material, it has to do with what you are adhering or bonding the transfer tape to.467 is for more smoother surfaces such as glass, plastics, painted surfaces, etc.468 is for rough or porous surfaces.I hope this will help buyers choose the proper adhesion. Both can be cut with a plotter or Cricut, Cameo if you have the correct blade.Works well with laser cutters and is a dream for wood signs.Highly recommend to anyone especially at this price point for the actual name brand.

Nice brand name 3M product. Price is a bit high but good quantity of the material. For some reason label says "with Tapknife" on it - only the tape roll was included (tapknife was not in the product page, not sure why the label mentions it).As with most of these items, the backing is a bit of a pain to peel off and you want to be careful to avoid air bubbles when laying out on the work piece.

I go through a LOT of this 3M film in various flavors when assembling my laser cut projects and it works fantastic. The difference between the 467 and 468 is thickness:467MP = 2mil468MP = 5mil2mil is fantastic on things like smooth acrylic while the 5mil works well on wood (but 2mil also works). I have noticed that over time, especially for multi-layer pieces that get exposed to elements, you can have some seam separation, so in those cases, wood glue might be a better option. For that tends to only be a problem when working with large pieces several inches in diameter, etc. For smaller things, and especially things made from element resistant materials like acrylic (moisture especially), I've never noticed a problem.Do note, this stuff is STICKY. When you're trying to apply it, it will try to stick to everything. I'll pre-apply it to panels before laser cutting them, so that they're pre-taped when cut, but trying to lay a piece down smoothly and evenly can be a hassle and takes practice.Cutting sheets of it can also be a hassle because as you cut, it'll stick to your cutting blade. I recommend not using scissors because it'll try to glue the blades together. :)
