I have been using it to clean up aluminum parts after fabrication. It cleans up the weld area and makes a nice finish. Fast and easy to use.

So here's my review of the Shitme....4.7x4 inch Nylon Drawing wheel/drum.Frankly, I like the make and feel of this drum. It has sturdy but giving nylon bristles that would be great for striping off something like deckover paint. I can also see it working well for harder surfaces, metal or the like, for cleaning up and paint removal. My issue is this - I thought I'd be able to attach it to a tool. So far, I cannot. I need a bolt and particular nut setup, that I don't have, for a drill. I tried my angle grinder. Again, don't have anything long enough or with the proper threads to attach the wheel. So while it's made well and feels like it'll do the job as advertised, I cannot use it yet. I am not even sure what the tool it might be made to fit is called... I'm a pretty experienced tool user believe it or not!I'm giving it 4 stars since the build and purposeful use of the product is there. I just can't tell you exactly how well it does. Sorry! But I'm working on getting it rigged up sometime soon and will use it on the deck to strip paint first. Seems a good fit for that.

Different option than what's available at local stores. It provides a good option for cleaning grooves and overlapping metal in frames that flat style wheels don't reach.

The product seems to be very well made and of good quality. It has been great at removing old paint from this furniture piece my wife got at a yard sale a few months back. The piece had about 3 layers of old paint on it and the nylon wheel made very quick work of getting it down to bare wood without losing wood like sanding it would have done. This got into the cracks and corners that otherwise would have been extremely difficult and time consuming to do with sanding paper. Overall if you own the burnishing tool or plan to buy one this particular nylon wheel will make a great addition to you arsenal at removing paint from wood surfaces without losing valuable wood surface area when sanding. The price of the nylon wheel is about average or a little cheaper when compared to other similar products.

I used this for weathered outside wood that turned grey over 2 years, it worked well at not damaging the wood and reached into the small greyed depressions in the wood. A new nylon bristles fell out but otherwise it is holding up well and does not damage the wood. It works best if you use a lighter pressure on the wood so it can spin at maximum speed. Good product. Thank You.

Works well on reclaimed lumber. Fits H/F tool well. Using on low speed so far, does great. Hoping it will last a while. For the price seems good!

I had several hundred linear feet of old weathered barn siding that I needed to clean up for reuse as an interior wall covering. This brush worked like a charm, it removed the dirt and loose splinters, etc from the wood but left the aged patina look and color intact.
