This bowl does not hold 60oz as advertised in the heading. I returned for a replacement and the self the wrong size again. I used a measuring cup and it only holds 4 cups or 32oz. Further in the advertisement for the large bowl, it lists the dimensions for a medium sized bowl. To return, they will only pick up for $8 at my expense or I have to drive 35 miles to the closest UPS store. Good sturdy nice bowl otherwise. Customer shouldn't have to pay for seller mistake.

This bowl is a great bowl it's heavy duty it's very rustic looking it's a pretty decent size it's extremely heavy for a bowl that you would use on a daily basis but it is very good quality. A little pricey for a bowl but considering what it is It was worth it

Love these bowls. We use them to feed our outside animals. Because they are heavy, the critters don’t carry them off and can’t chew them up !!

Overall I love the bowl, I use it over a tea warmer for a Tokkuri or two of warm sake. My only issue is that there were a few gaps in the seasoning that started to rust. I brushed them with brass wire, tossed them in the fireplace to heat up and wiped them down with some cooking oil to seal them. Haven't had a problem since.

Bought this bowl with the intention of using it as a functional soup bowl. Because it's not pre-seasoned, I had to preseason it. Works like a charm! That said, as is, it's great little bowl for serving dry finger foods.

I got this cast iron to use to burn sage in as well as candles and it works great. I’m not sure I would cook in them because cast iron can have a lot of impurities causing health risks which makes me very picky when it comes to my cooking cast iron, but it’s definitely good for what I bought it for.
