Bought these cuesticks for my pool table at home. I store them flat and yet they still warped.

Gave these cues to my son as a gift and when the box was opened, it was discovered that one of the cues has a considerable hook - almost as if it had been sanded too much on one side. The other cue seems to be fine.Guess I'll have to try and correct things by doing a little sanding of my own.Ugh... somewhat disappointing.

I keep a set of these cues in my camper for the long trips and we happen to find a place to get a quick game in on the road. They are light and store easily.

Not bad pool cues for children although they still are pretty big. My children , 6 and 7l still had trouble controlling the length and weight of these pool cues. Maybe they cre designed more for children a bit older such as preteens.

My boys are 12, 10, and 7. They are eager to shoot pool with me in the basement, but I don't want them using my good cues. My billiard space is a touch small as well, so the shorter sticks are helpful to minimize damage to the walls. These are better than I expected for $15 each. They appear to be maple or more likely the asian equivalent. They are surprisingly straight. One is warped about 1mm top to bottom and the other about 2mm. The joint is also surprisingly smooth. The finish is good enough for the money. I expect them easily to last until my boys graduate to nice stocks. However, if these broke sooner than later I would probably order them again since they are a known commodity.

My intended use is to have one of these in the bag for playing at places that have obstacles, or walls that are too close to the table, making shots far more difficult than normal. I can always break out the jump cue, but for a normal shot, not jacking up, a longer cue stick allows for a better stroke. These shorties do the trick. The ad is incorrect, the tips are 13.25mm, not 12mm, and the shafts are quite chunky. They measure 48.25" in length, without the bumper, which makes it closer to 49" (just mentioning for the person that truly needs 48", or less). They aren't going to be the best for kids, but they'll work. They're pretty thick in the shaft for adults. Still, at under $15/stick for a jointed cue, shoot, they can use them for shooting pool and if it doesn't work out, they can use them as softball bats. One shot can cost you a tournament, which can cost you far more than the price of the pair of these cues.

.9 kg = 31 oz., according to my browser search, that's pretty much an insane weight for a cue stick - but I prefer very light sticks, I'll quite often take the weighted bolt out of the end completely. These don't have a bolt, the endcap is just a screwed-on decoration. That being said, I actually like the heaviness - for breaking the rack. I've had a LOT of cues in my life, usually mid to high end, if a cheap stick is needed - use a house stick - has always been my rule. I was curious of these for the length, shorties have a place, usually in tight quarters. I've already got 2 cues in my case, one of these shorties will get added in. Proper jump shots are done by coming straight DOWN on the cueball, and a proper 'jump' stick is usually a 3-footer (or just the fore end of a 2-piece), my 1st curiosity of these is how well they may work for that shot; I'm thinking maybe at best, the weight may be an advantage to it but they're probably still on the long side, especially if up under a low hanging light. Heavy stick means shoot light.

We needed some shorter cues for the new pool room in close quarters, so we added these to the collection (picture), and are pleased. They are short enough to take shots in uncomfortable positions/close to walls, but long enough to be comfortable and usable for pool. The only thing that could be improved would be a bit more weight, but I’m particular. The overall build quality is great, and they look good cosmetically.Good shorter cues for the money!
