The product was fine. However, the problems was that the rack basket I bought for it was too heavy as the base of the rack crossbars bent, becoming loose; consequently, I was forced to dumb or leave them with the basket at the end of my road trip and was not able to bring them back home with me. Because they became loose and insecure to travel with.

I bought this because it claimed it fit my 2017 Nissan Versa 4dr sedan. It does not. None of the provided roof clamps are adequate to hold it in place, all are actually too long to do so. Not even after two people working together with muscle power to keep it all tight while turning the knobs, it still would not stay in place. I was going to try modifying it to mount permanently with bolts thru the roof, but the side impact airbags make drilling in that area unwise. Also, the instruction sheet is so faded and tiny it is unreadable. Total waste of money and my time.

This would be an excellent product if the instructions were better. First off the instructions are written incorrectly for the kayak racks. The picture in the instructions clearly shows the rail going one way but when you put the racks on with the tension plates it is obviously backwards. I checked it 4 times and had another person recheck what I read.The next thing about the assembly is it does not explain how to tighten the device on your car. I put it on and tightened everything and it was loose. Loose enough, I did not trust it to stay on while driving. It took a while but I figured out how to get it tight.The hardware was another issue. It explained what came in the package but was not clear where to put the knobs. I had a time figuring that out too.At any rate, I got it together and I think it will be a good system, but language barrier on the instructions make it tough to deal with. If somebody put it together and was not mechanically inclined, I don't think they could put it together safely.

Took a bit to figure which of the clamps fit better between the three. Then it was just adjusting for centering it and tighting it down. I was expecting more wind noise, but it turned out to be rather quiet. Thanks

but 14 jetta sedan fits good on the best I can get it had in on about a week time will tell how long it last

Flew off on the way to to kayaking... whole beam completely bent going 45mph causing it to fly off into the middle of the road with a kayak. On the way down it scartched my roof and dented the trunk of my car. Poorly constructed. A major liability!!!
