Package 1 was missing hardware, easy to work with for replacement.Even without the correct bolts, rails held well. 10/10, product works

the instructions where misspelled and not very detailed to install the wrack. I also had to take an intertube from a bike tire to get the wrack to not slide back and forth on the top of my car and this was after realizing that the pads they provided where not sticky like they should of been in order to remove them and place them on the metal to stick to the car and help the wrack not slide around while driving. These took about two hours to put together and install. I don't think they are very safe on there own with the supplies provided. If I wouldn't of added extra traction I'm not sure I would of actually drove with them on top of my car in fear of them failing and flying into someone behind me with or without my kyak attached. That being said I am going to try and make due because I cannot afford to return these and order a different pair before my kyak trip so I will update after my trip to let everyone know if they actually hold up or not with the bike tire intertube attached for traction to keep them holding onto the roof of my car. I drive a buick century 2000 for measure.
