This is the first time I have fitted solid wheels. Thought I had made a mistake on handling them initially, but after attaching them to the Wheelbarrow, they handled very well.I did not have to change the bearings, but did use the supplied spacers.Pleased with the purchase

I always find it frustrating when I need my wheelbarrow only to find the tire is flat. Around our home, we do not use the wheelbarrow on a daily, or even weekly, basis and it sometimes sits for week, if not months, at a time before we need it. I then have to spend time getting air in the tire and hope it holds. This product was the exact solution to this problem. These tires and wheels are solid and do not take air at all. I will never have to worry about a flat tire on the wheelbarrow again.These wheels come with all of the necessary hardware to install on almost any application and makes the changeout process smooth and painless. I also enjoy the grease fitting on the wheels to allow for lubrication of the hub and spindle. This will prove to allow this product to function properly for many years to come.I have owned and used similar ones for about 15 years on a garden trailer and have never had an issue with them. I am so happy to now have these for my wheelbarrow and change out the air-inflated tire.These are highly recommended to replace your air-inflated tires on either a wheelbarrow or a garden trailer. Once installed, you will be ready to roll from now on without the worry of finding your wheelbarrow or garden trailer with flat tires again. I recently ordered a two wheeled wheelbarrow to use around the house but they came with pneumatic tires which I did not want. Why you might ask? My partner already has a single wheel, wheelbarrow and it is constantly needing air. He has health issues and the chores and projects he used to do have become my job. With a plate full of things that need to be done, it is a real pain in the neck to have to fill it with air everytime I need it, instead of just being able to grab it and go. I ordered my own two wheeled one (he isn’t ready to give the other one up yet). There is a trade off in that the pneumatic tires do ride much bouncier and smoother over bumpy rough surfaces like stone than these solid tires do, (we live on mountain ledge). But I am happy to trade that off for the ability to grab and go. Another reviewer mentioned the flattening of this type of tire. To counter that and because of storage space we store this upside down outside. Keeping it upside down keeps water from pooling and keeps the tires off the ground. It is easy enough to turn right side up. If you are storing this in a shed or barn you could tip it up and lean it with the flat side facing the wall to prevent the solid tires from flattening out. These were easy enough to install.

Here on the farm, we have several different garden wagons, dump wagons, and rolling carts. It seems like whenever they are needed, their tires need air. On tubeless type tires, this can cause the bead to separate from the rim, making it necessary to reseat the bead in order to pressurize the tire. With the tube type, the tube’s air stem is easily damaged, and the rubber deteriorates over time, requiring disassembly of the wheel and tire in order to replace the tube. This RONPOW 2-pack of 16-inch flat-free tires and wheels eliminate these annoying problems. Not only that, but punctures are a thing of the past because the tires are foam filled, not air filled, so the air cannot leak out. There is one disadvantage to this type of tire in that if the tires are left heavily loaded for a period of time, they can deform. As I have been careful not to leave the carts loaded when not in use, I cannot say how much load, or how long a time period, or whether or not the deformation is permanent, but for the convenience of never having a flat and never having to add air, I consider it a good trade off.The wheels come with both 5/8” and 3/4” bore bearings, as well as short and long spacers, for maximum compatibility. Although the tires do feel harder than pneumatic tires, I did not notice any difference in actual use, and the cart wheels roll just like a fully inflated pneumatic tire. The large 16” diameter makes for easier rolling on rougher terrain, and the wide 3” tire is less likely to make ruts or bog down when the ground is soft than more narrow versions.If you are tired of having to stop or delay your work in order to tend to your pneumatic cart tires, I think you will be as pleased with these flat free tires and wheels as I am.

I really like these flat free tires. They fit on a wheelbarrow easily and work quite well. Inevitably, when I have gone to use my wheelbarrow, the tire was flat. Not any longer. These tires are nice and well worth it.
