Our connectors are CNC machined from aluminium to provide a precision joint. The threads are a full 1'' long which helps to prevent screw loosening and makes for a super strong joint. Thats twice the length of most aluminium mahl sticks.

A beautifully made mahl stick. It’s so light it’s even lighter than the plastic one that I made for myself which was very light. Unlike my plastic one, this one is very strong. It looks so lovely as well. You can tell that this was made with care right down to the way it was tied. I bought the three-piece one. I am very happy with it. I will probably mostly use just one piece or two, but I would rather pay the little bit extra for the third one just in case I need it at some point. highly recommend this mahl stick. Such attention to detail. So light! You hardly notice that you’ve got it in your hand. It’s the best one I’ve ever owned.Also, the customer service is outstanding! As well as the presentation and wrapping which is done with such care you feel like you’re opening a Chanel gift box. Do not hesitate to buy this. You won’t be sorry.

The stick itself is top quality, excellently engineered and a joy to use. Very light and rigid, with no bumps or ridges even at the joints. It arrived promptly and is exquisitely packaged - it would make a very good gift. The Customer service from Andy and his family is second to none, fantastic engagement, a SEVEN YEAR WARRANTY (!) and thoughtful after-sales service. Highly highly recommended.

I went ahead and bought the 48 inch mahl stick. Very handy for stating my hand and I can use it on larger canvases. Super lightweight and easy to use.

I own several mahl sticks from and have used them for years. This is hands down the finest I’ve ever seen. Extremely light and rigid with minimal to no flex. Attention to detail and quality of construction and hardware are outstanding. Easily worth three times the price to any professional or serious hobbyist.

Can't recommend this enough, and the best part is that it is made by an artist for artists, so all the boxes are ticked. Thank you, Andrew Talbot! It's light which is amazing, since you won't have to put a lot of effort holding it up. Even though the length is adjustable, I like using it at its maximum length, but it's still great to have the option. It also comes with a holder to store your mahlstick. I really love it and use it even when I don't need to, just because I think it looks cool! Upon activating your seven year warranty, you will receive some guides and tips, which I think is awfully generous of the Andrew.

I'm so glad that I found this product! I was looking for a replacement for the wood mahl stick I had bought when I started painting a year ago. I have not been able to use that mahl stick successfully because it's heavy and unwieldy. This mahl stick is not only light, but it's adjustable so I can use it for large paintings as well as small ones. It also disassembles easily and goes into its own little case for storage. All in all it's perfect for what I need!

The perfect mahl-stick. Just buy it. Super light, very rigid. Get the longer version because you can always unscrew and remove the center section to use it as a shorter stick when needed, then go back to the full size. I used various clumsy kludges from a 24" T-square to a cane to an aluminum pipe. This is much better, and cheap at the price.

This is a really lovely sturdy mahl stick with a nicely cushioned end, and it is so, so light! Really nice to paint with.
