Junk junk two of the 3 in the package leak when shut off. Cheap cheap plastic junk! Save your money. Do not buy these !And the shipper seller did NOTHING to fix the issues!!!!!! Stay away from!!!!!

Not that well made but cheap, thin plastic. They do work in a pinch, can be difficult to turn on/off.

Our snowblower didn't come with a shut off valve. When I filled the gas to prepare for winter I found we had an issue with the carburetor. Since we didn't have a shut off valve I had to drain the entire gas tank to make the repair. Given there is limited space and a short hose, draining the tank resulted in spilling some of the grass on to the machine and the ground. Before putting it all back together I installed one of these. I was glad they came with clamps since I didn't have a valve in the fuel system to begin with. The valve works as it should with no leaks.

My snowblower didn't come with a valve, so to remove the carb you have to make a big mess of gas everywhere and to shut it off at the end of a season, you just can't. I used one of these valves, cut the gas line and put it in between and voilà, no more problems. They fit well and close off the flow of gas well.

I have to admit that I took a chance on this item as there are no product measurements in the listing. The only measurement is the statement that it is designed for ¼ inch fuel line, which is what my lawn mower uses. As this is going to be added to a lawn mower that doesn’t already have a fuel shut off, I wasn’t sure that this would fit in the space where it needs to be installed. The shut off measures 1 7/8 inches end to end and 1 3/4 inches tall. It does indeed fit on the lawn mower so now I’m able to turn off the fuel supply while the mower sits in the shed waiting for its next use. The valve turns easily and works just as expected. And I even have two spares!

Perfect shut off valve for any lawn equipment. I have this installed on my snowblower replacing the old one which seized. No leaks from this valve either internally or externally and works well in freezing cold climate too.
