Awesome carb for the price. Used it on my 2007 Aprilia Scarabeo 50 4t.I removed stock air cleaner assembly and installed a higher flow aftermarket filter.Had to put a larger main jet #87 in due to increase in air flow. Runs absolutely great!!

So it was good to get rid of the factory carb but don’t plan on this thing helping boost performance at all, you’re gonna get the performance lost back and you. An actually get Into this carb for cleaning and jet fine tuning. Was worth the small price

Plug & Play.Hooked it up, didn’t really need to tune. Scooter fired right up and was already set to a good idle speed. Tuned to my liking and it works great. 1 month in use no issues.Was an exact match to the OEM carb.

I installed this in a 2008 Wildfire 50cc scooter. It had been sitting for a few years and would barley idle. I didn’t want to clean out the carb when I realized I can just buy this one!This carb will work with any gy6 engine (which basically means almost every Chinese scooter on earth).The installation went smoothly, as much as any other carb install. It fit my gy6 50cc engine very well. This procedure might take a little longer for a beginner, but if you can watch YouTube you can learn how to do this. Before you begin, I suggest using colored tape to mark all of the hoses. Then take lots of photos of your old carb. This will make it easier when you install this new one.The air intake was slightly difficult to connect but that is usually the case, as you want tight connections!My old carb was basically useless so I don’t have much I’d a “before and after” comparison as far as old carb and new carb performance. But I can tell you this made a dead scooter alive again!I actually didn’t adjust any of the screws on the carb as far as idle and mixture. The stock settings worked great.

Edit 2021: gas has leaked tremendously. Thought it was something else. It’s leaking from the carb. Wrote the first review too quick. If you end up leaking gags, don’t worry. It’s just the carb going bad. I’d find a new make. I just purchased this again so my niece could get back on it until I find a new one to go with.2020: Bought this for a taotao 50cc scooter. The scooter would bog down when full throttled and would decrease in acceleration. Always had to find the sweet spot in the throttle to get it to even go 15mph after 15mins of warm up. Wouldn’t even climb a hill with the stock carb. I installed this new carb today, took a minute for the gas to enter the carb trying to start it and about 6th attempt it fired right up. Put the seat back in and drove away. It now reaches 30 to 34mph easily. Full throttle has no issues like before. Climbs hills with a breeze. Great carb. Not sure how it’ll be in two weeks to a month, but if there are any issues, I’ll be back to comment. Probably won’t have any issues. Put it on the same way you took it off. Only difference is I kept the fuel filter bowl on the new carb and attached the fuel line hose to clear fuel bowl. Stock carb didn’t have one and the fuel line ran straight into carb. Other than that, didn’t need to adjust any settings.
