Worked perfectly for my needs. All nine pins and shield are wired straight through, so the cable can be used for RS232 or any other low current DB9 application. The connectors are nicely built, and the 30AWG wiring is labeled to handle up to 80°C. Be aware that both ends of the cable have thumbscrews (as opposed to threaded holes to accept screws). That may or may not be what you want, depending on what the cable will be connected to. All in all, solid quality, no complaints.
