I use this adapter in an older laptop that does not have wifi built in. It works great. The built-in driver is a real help in Windows computers because it saves time trying to get drivers from websites or CDs. It works well in my 2011 MacBook Pro as well. If you need a quick fix for your wifi needs, this device fits the bill.

I ordered this wi-fi USB adapter for my old laptop when the modem died. I used to get speeds of around 250Mbps before the modem went out. This adapter can barely deliver 1Mbps. Totally unusable at this speed unless all you're doing is email.

I was pleased the tiny tool was able to get good signal in the worst spot in the house. I had other adapters and they struggle. This was discovered and turning on before I knew it. Tried it first in a 2010 free upgrade to win 10 from win 7....worked well. Stepped it up to its new home a 2014 win 10l computer where it is the only connection after the computer moved too faraway from the router to stay hard wired. Good communications and reasonable price.

Setting this up on my desktop was a smooth and hassle-free experience, instantly improving my ability to stream videos and download files with a more stable and efficient internet connection, and the plug-and-play feature made it so convenient to use without the need for any additional software or installations. The compact design fit perfectly with my setup, blending into the existing tech without being intrusive or bulky, and the strong connection allowed me to enjoy fast network speeds even in areas of my home where the signal tends to dip. Whether I was using it for video calls that required crisp and consistent audio quality or downloading large multimedia files during work projects, it handled everything effortlessly, delivering reliability and ease that streamlined my workflow while enhancing the overall experience. The compatibility with my laptop and smartphone meant switching between devices was straightforward, providing flexibility and convenience that made multitasking simpler and more enjoyable. I particularly appreciated how it supported high-speed wireless connectivity, which made a noticeable difference during intensive tasks and extended sessions, while its thoughtful design ensured it stayed firmly in place without slipping or losing contact. This has quickly become an essential part of my setup, elevating the functionality of my workspace while offering the reliability and simplicity that every tech accessory should have.

tiny fast little device. took no setup or apps to make it work. Plug and play. My speed is not as fast with this device, but its compatibility and ease of use are perfect. For the price, it's a great deal. Signal strength is weak, thus the lower speed. I ended up getting a wireless booster that has an ethernet port. So, wired from the computer to the wireless booster ended up being the fastest way to go for an old tower that doesn't have wifi built in.

It's a small USB Wi-Fi adapter. I plugged it into a Windows 11 computer and it worked without having to install drivers. It's provided reliable connectivity for a computer not near any wired network jacks in an industrial environment. It's been very reliable and I've had no issues with it.I haven't tested it with Linux yet. I'll update this review when I do.
