This is a great idea but fails in its usage. The only issue is that once the lid is put onto the jar, it is nearly impossible to get off without the help of a wet towel or a grip pad. Therefore your spices that are in the jar still will spill everywhere when you try to remove it to add more. They did issue refund promptly so I give 3 stars overall.
