I absolutely love this portable air conditioner! It is perfect for cooling down a small room or office space. This works just as described! I was pleasantly surprised at how big it was. My brother has access to ice at work, but not a/c in the heavy equipment he operates. He says this will make a big difference in his day and keep him from roasting! It really does make a difference because I've already used it in the back of my SUV for a passenger who didn't feel like they were getting enough air! As long as you have ice? Cold air! Or operate as a fan. No it's not some powerful unit to cool the whole car or house. But it might might make a difference in whether you survive the heat without feeling like the walking dead.

You have to be pretty close to feel the effect of this air conditioner. It seems cheaply made and I think it is over priced. The are 2 fans but they don't put out very much air. If you put it on a desk or table and sat right in front of it, it will cool you down a bit. It is light and portable. Doesn't have a very big water reservoir. It would be fun for a kid with the lights and the water but it is just a novelty.

For as little as this is, it works extremely well!!! I got it for our upstairs bedroom that gets really hot in the summer. It’s super easy to use, you can fill the water tank while it’s on, it’s quiet, the air is cold, it’s lightweight, and the controls are easy to use. Our bedroom is huge and way too big for this fan to work and cool it down. However, I can place it next to me and it’s amazing!!! The air with the mist on full power doesn’t get you wet at all. I’m sure my husband is going to want one for his desk (not air conditioned garage) at work. It’s perfect for personal use!!!!! Not sure how well it’ll cool down a room but it would have to be a pretty small room. You can charge it and it be cordless or you can plug it into an USB adapter.
