Did not work for me. I formatted 3 usb to exfat. Loaded all 3 with movies in mp4. This player did not work for any of them. It DID show them after the menu came up but then clicking on MOVIES a notice would come up that the player could not play them. I tried over and over and over again. My computer read the usb just fine, played the movies just fine. My Sony 65 inch played the movies just fine when the usb was plugged directly into the tv. This player did not play even 1 of the 50 movies on each of the 3 128GB flash drives. I tried it on 4 different tv's using the enclosed HDMI cable on all 4. 1 tv I even hooked up the red, yellow, white cables. For whatever reason this did not work as described, so I'm sending it back to Amazon. I needed this to work as it was going to be a present.updated 3/6/2025. You have received a message from the Amazon Seller - New Twist INC. "We want to tell you that you need an additional 12V external power supply to power the 128gb flash drives in order to read USB data properly. Because different brands and high-capacity hard drives have different power supply requirements. You can also consult the seller of the USB hard drive." Too bad this wasn't in the description. I've moved on. At least you will know before buying.

This was a functional player and probably does most of what it is advertised to do. However I had three issues that impacted on my intended use.1. The 'home' button on the remote stopped working after about 10 minutes of use. I kept having to hit the 'back' button multiple times to get to the home screen.2. The audio player would only play random music within a folder (which equates to a record album in my file structure). I have several thousand music titles and in my car and on my computer, I can randomize the playing across the entire library. But not on this device dedicated to this purpose.3. I could have set up the box to play audio upon start (a cool idea), and that would have allowed me to play without turning on my TV. But if I want my TV to display the title, author, etc. of the title that was playing, this box was not readily capable of doing that. Just displayed an artsy picture of musical notes.

I recently bought this 4K digital media player for the display menu for store. and I’m very impressed with its performance. The picture quality is stunning, delivering crisp and vibrant visuals. It runs smoothly without lag, even when streaming high-resolution content. The user interface is intuitive, making navigation easy and hassle-free.

This is a 4K player with a built in player. I had trouble using a 6TB drive however that is very unusual and I didn’t think it would work however it was worth a try! It does work with a regular usb and can read different format capabilities. It’s nifty when you want to watch movies that aren’t available on Netflix or Hulu or any of the streaming services

I travel for work quite a bit and I hate hotel cable and streaming services aren't always available. I used to bring a firestick, but sometimes the wifi isn't always best. So now I just copy a show or movie from my home NAS and take it with me. Connection is simple, the interface is simple. The sound and video quality is perfect. There's no lag when navigating through the menu. Great value.

I should have looked a little longer. I wanted something to play a slideshow of pictures. After some false starts (you can only use very old USB 3.1 memory sticks, and it had to be fat32 formatted. NOT EXFAT, which it claims to handle but did not. The big issue I am having is that you can set certain parameters like slide transition effect or transition time but there appears to be no way to save those settings. It always goes to default. It also does not remember the setting which makes the slideshow start up automatically after a power outage. The only way to make it work is to use the remote and navigate to the folder where the pictures are. The user guide is nonexistent and not enough people buy this to find any decent answers in the reviews. I need it tomorrow, so I will keep it, but I would have sent this back otherwise. It would be nice if the vendor can reach out to me on how to make this thing actually obey the settings!

I needed an MP4 player that would support large hard drives. This one said it supported up to 8TB. In truth, I could not get anything over 1TB to work consistently. I tried multiple drives, both HDD and SSD. Only the smaller drives would work.If you only plan to use smaller drives, it seems to work ok for those purposes. One limitation was that you could not default to turning off subtitles, and you had to press about 10 different buttons to turn it off each time. Other than that, using a small flash drive seemed to work well. I just had to return it because of the inability to handle large drives. One other kind of annoying thing was that it runs on an Android OS hand has a great many settings that are irrelevant to this device (e.g. ringtone settings, WiFI, etc.).
