NVR was exactly what I wanted. The setup was plug&play with a mixture of Hikvision and Ovif camera. My old unit was program as 192.168.1.0. And my new unit setup with 192.168.2.0 and cameras worked flawlessly. It actually found one of my camera need a firmware upgrade and worked fine afterwards. Also I performed NVR firmware without issues.

This system does not support PoE (Power over Ethernet) even if it clearly states it on the page. The support is a joke. I got one pointless question back and then nothing.Would be really interesting how the got positive reviews.I would recommend not to buy anything from this store given the negative experience with product description and so called support. If there was an option with 0 stars that would be the occasion.

This is a compact Sized Network Video Recorder:The recorder is a nice compact size that makes it easier to store NVR and DVR Systems. This compact NVR can be neatly placed on a shelf or on a desk to use as a central location. The NVR although small, has numerous usable ports, including 8 RJ45 (Ethernet/POE) Connections. An HDMI Port is included to connect a monitor and even a VGA if you have an older monitor. There are two USB ports to connect a mouse. This system does not include cameras so be certain to purchase 4K capable POE cameras!

I finally got around to replacing my existing PoE only switch, and upgrading to this. Before I was recording onto an external USB drive hooked up to the computer (I use Blue Iris). The switch over was easy, and I'm enjoying the advantages of an NVR.
