If you have a bed with vigorous activity or a lot of movement, it’s OK. Unfortunately, the locking rings unscrew and I would definitely recommend having these on a rug carpet instead of a hardwood floor because if you have it under a hardwood floor, they will move and knock out from underneath you.

I got these for added support in the middle of my bed frame. They were easy to install and are heavy duty. The instructions were easy to install. They go from 8 inches tall to 13.5 inches tall ender compact in size. They are made out of industrial plastic so they are heavy duty. The price point is $20 for a set of two. It matched the description in the ad.

The squeaking noise was driving me mad! A single wooden slat piece on the underside of my box spring has cracked due to a particularly enthusiastic friend jumped on my bed. Unfortunately, this was directly beneath the spot where I spend my time in bed (sleeping, watching tv, relaxing). A bed that squeaks is no friend of mine. This plastic tubular device saved my sanity. There are so many different ways to raise or lower the height by simply twisting-- no tools required whatsoever. This could not have been easier. I just slid it under the cracked slat and twisted until there was a good secure support connection--- and no more creaking/squeaking noise.

Unlike the first set I bought from a different vendor, these work very well. The threads in them two sections are all well-aligned making them easy to set up (2 minutes) and adjust by hand. "Setup" simply means screwing two sections together if you need more height than the base pair provides. Lock rings also go on easily and adjust easily. Good value for the money

These are a lot larger then they appear, great for support of a bed and easy to use. Comes in a few pieces, just screw it all together and place it under where you need, screw the entire base and it will raise to the needed level. They are made of a very strong and sturdy plastic, I use them under a wood slate bed and could tell a difference upon laying down for the first time.
