I purchased the SKYJDM 4-Pack Faraday Bags Key Fob Protector - Faraday Cage for Phones & Car Keys & Tablets & Laptop. I only use the shield for the phone. The shield operates only some of the time. About 80% of the occasions when I remove the phone from the case the phone shows it has an established cell tower signal. The other 20%, when the phone is removed from the shield NO signal is displayed. It can even play music via wi-fi when it's in the shield.

Excellent product! Very well made and velcro closures are easy to use. Sizes of the various pieces are true. For instance, fits my phone and laptop like a glove, with no added weight. Best product of it's kind that I've found!

With all these car thefts going around our neighbourhood, I wanted a way to protect our car keys from being hijacked and our cars from being stolen. I like the XS size for the car remote, as it’s the perfect fit. When I press the open button on the car key while it’s in the bag, the car door doesn’t unlock so I know it’s working. Now I can leave my car keys in my purse by the door without having to worry about the signal being stolen and mimicked. Faraday bags are the only way to guarantee that all signals to and from electric devices are cut off. Even if the device is turned off, it can still be tracked. The only other option is to either remove the battery or to put the device in a faraday bag. The faraday bag option seems better to me. These faraday bags are thick and they really work!

This has a nice selection of sizes except the smallest bag which doesn't seem to fit anything. There is no depth to it so it is not able to spread open to receive even a cell phone. If you wanted to carry your credit cards in the small bag that would work, assuming that you do not have a lot of credit cards. We did a simple test and put a cell phone in a bag, sealed the bag, and called the phone. The bag completely cut off the cell phone, doing what it was designed to do. The bags are all firm and thick - not just thin Faraday cloth. At $30 as a Cyber Monday deal they are at a good price. Regular list price of $46 as of 11/26/23 makes it a little more subjective call.

I am old enough to remember when everything was paid for in cash, and robbers held you up with guns and knives to get that money. Now the world has evolved-checks, credit cards, and today electronic/contactless payments. And of course the bad guys have evolved as well. They no longer necessarily need deadly weapons to get what is yours when hacking into your accounts is possible and so much physically safer for them.So of course we must evolve as well-passwords and passkeys, two factor authentication, etc. These Faraday bags are supposed to prevent unauthorized electronic access into the information we have stored on our phones, tablets, laptops, etc.; for good measure, the bags are also supposed to be water and fireproof.The set comes with four bags-one for a wallet one for a cell phone, a tablet and a laptop. The bags close by folding the top down and sealing the velcro strips. The bags are very attractive and seem well made. The two biggest bags have a reflective strip. My wallet fits easily into its bag, as does my phone (a pretty big one) into its. I have a 13.3 inch tablet and while it also goes into its bag I cannot close it as intended-13.3 is big for a tablet and I think anything up to 12 inches would probably be okay. The laptop bag is more than sufficient for my 15.6 inch machine, so much so that I think it would suffice even for a 17 inch model.Do the bags work as intended-do they prevent hacking? Honestly, who knows? I am not sure how it would be possible without some kind of specialized device to ascertain. If your accounts don't get hacked, is it dumb luck, these bags, something else, etc.? Who knows? And if the worst does happen and there is unauthorized access did it happen when the device was in one of these or sometime else? Or did it occur some other way? How can one really tell? These bags are cheaper than some others-what does that mean? So to me, these bags are just hedging my bets-as I noted, they are attractive and apparently well made, they will prevent scratches I think and I don't think they make an attack any more likely. So why not? In today's world while we may not wear armor our machines maybe should.
