Don’t waste money buying new charging cables for the newer gadgets with USB-C connectors. Buy these adapters instead! Saved at least $60+ $$$ from not having to buy new USB-C cables!

Used on my tablet that only has USB C, to connect a Jabra headset. Works perfectly, no BS.Worth it.

For those of us with current generation computers, the USB-C is now standard. On Mac laptops, it's the only connector.I have found that these, from Amazon, are well-built, small, and rugged, and serve well even for moderately complex interfaces, such as driving audio devices through the USB port, running Windows applications in an emulator on the Mac. Not that the internals of such an adapter are complicated, but it's nice to have one that works well.

After many years using PCs from Dell, HP, etc, I decided to make the switch to my first Apple machine with a MacBook Pro laptop. Of course, since Apple is virtually alone in the industry with their extensive use of Thunderbolt and USB-C, adapters are required. I used these little adapters for wireless mouse, scanner, SD card reader, etc, and all seem to interface with my Apple properly. I'm able to use all my previous peripheries without looking for new ones to buy with updated connectors. And, at around $2 each for this package of 4, they are definitely a good value.

These adapters seem to work fine, although I didn't measure the data throughput speed. My main issue is how the metal outer cover often isn't secured on the internal part.Basically it can just slide off when you try to plug and unplug it.I tried to carefully glue them on, but on one the super glue got into the internal area and prevents a USB device from being plugged in, ruining it.Manufacturer, do some quality control!!
