Telescoping target stick is well made and sturdy. My dog was attracted to the orange ball immediately. It telescopes out to 3 feet past the handle, which was plenty.The metal whistle is loud enough and comes with a lanyard to hang around your neck.Clicker is nice and loud, and makes a crisp, satisfying ka-kunk.I wish the clicker mechanism were incorporated into the handle of the telescoping target stick, because with one hand holding each of these tools, you don't have any hand left to fish out and deliver treats. I went ahead and duct taped it on to the handle myself.The company must understand that holding everything is tricky, because they provided a handy loop or a bungee fastening mechanism, or a lanyard attached to each item so you can hang them on your belt loops or your coat buttons when you need two hands for something else.I didn't receive the treat pouch, so unable to comment on it.My girl LOVES training with these tools - it stimulates her mind and she comes home dog-tired and konkes right out. YouTube has lots of great videos on how to train using a target stick and clicker. Fun!!

Some of the items in here are a bit confusing and I won't use but the clicker works well and was the reason for the purchase. The whistle is decent but not very loud and you need to use a bit of force to make sound.

This is a great starter kit for any pet owner who hopes to teach their pet tricks or do any sort of training. The pieces are well made. I'm having a fun time with these pieces and my pets. You never know what they can learn!

I was hoping the whistle that came with this would be one of those silent whistles that only dogs can hear, but unfortunately it’s decidedly not silent. It’s got some volume on it. The whistle does have a decently long neck cord for use, so that’s a good thing.The clicker has a nice volume to it. It also came with a cord, but for your wrist.The touch rod extends much further than I expected it to, which will come in handy.Over all an okay set of items, but the whistle was a let down for me personally, since I didn’t want a human audible one.

Great training set! I love the clicker. It's better than the one I previously was using. It has a much louder click sound, less mechanical more actual "click" and my dog really send to react well to it. The whistle is great for recall but as a Woman I like to carry it with me because it could be used in an emergency. Not that my dog would be quiet, but it's a great dual purpose tool. The ball stick is also great. First, it helped me desensitize my dog. He was scared of the pole at first so we built confidence and now he's showing more interest in it. Overall, great training tools to help pup and handler feel safer and more equipped to tackle any obstacle.
