We got this so that camping could be a bit easier.I'm glad we tried one pouch at home, first.So, it is very tasty, but quite spicy for people who don't like heat. You can serve over a starch to cut the heat or...How I adjusted: for a little added richness, I used some beef broth in place of some of the water.Then, to cut some of the heat, I added a can of petite diced tomatoes and a can of rinsed beans.With those changes it was very good. You could even add some canned chicken or beef to make it very hearty.I LOVE that this has directions for individual servings so you don't have to cook the whole pouch. That said, my family is six people, so it's the perfect size for us.

Got it as a gift for my family just in case they got stuck in the house and ran out of food.Apparently it's delicious because they ate it right away and I haven't seen it.I guess I'll have to buy more.
