Simple USB PD triggers work exactly as you'd expect. You have a button on the board to select voltage, but you can also solder a trace across terminals on the back to hard set the voltage if you choose to go that route. Output is to a USB-A port but there are terminals on the board that allow you to solder your own wires to the output.

This review is for the "4pcs USB-C PD QC DC 5V 9V 12V 15V 20V Adjustable Voltage Power Trigger Module 5A Type-C Male USB Port Input (Type-C Male - USB)."As you can see by the photos, this adjustable voltage module actually does what the listing says, with a nominal 20-30mV ripple without load. Check out the pics- they show the values. It's super easy to operate, and if you like to make things and print 3D stuff, it's not that hard to make a simple case for it.Price isn't too bad. I've seen some 4-packs on Amazon for a buck less. All I can state here is that these do work as advertised. Worthy of recommendation.
