These coil spring lifters work as described. Fairly easy to assemble. I got these for my 2008 Chevrolet Aveo5. A good value for the price.

Not nearly as heavy as I expected. For a job touted as so dangerous, I think I will want a heavier version before messing with any substantial coil spring on our SUVs. I’m no full-time mechanic but these seem much better suited for ATV or Crosskart setups than highway vehicles.
