I like these liners much better than the coconut coir that is so popular. The 6th felt hold in moisture without getting too waterlogged. They are a little bigger than expected, I measured my boxes and these should have fit perfectly, but they're a tad too big so they do make some funny gaps. But overall they still work and they look nice

I love these felt liners for my hanging garden boxes, slowly replacing all my coir liners which not only rot and disintegrate but also allow water to just pour out, drying out plant roots way too quickly. These liners fit in nicely, can be pinched easily if they're too large for the planter, since the soil will hold them in place. Once I water plants, the water remains within the felt for a longer period of time and slowly feeds back to the soil so the plants don't dry out completely. My plants are so happy with these liners, and they look so much cleaner than rotting, ratty coir. I also like that they can be used all year and likely years, unlike coir that has to be replaced within a couple months - great bargain.

As you can see from the first photo, I had lined this wooden deck-railing box with black plastic. Over the years it fell apart and became unsightly. Second photo shows that I had to cut the felt liner to adjust for the length of the box. Easy peasey. The final photo shows the liner and box filled with potting soil and ready for spring planting.I needed to trim the height of the liner as well, but it fits just fine. Since it is black any part of the liner will be hidden by the flowers I plant.I am really glad I stumbled onto this box liner product. As the web description says, the liner should not attract birds to pull pieces out for nesting. I expect it to hold up to the elements. If that is not the case I will revise my review.

We picked up some flower boxes to put around the desk, and they came with these moss-like liners, but after a couple years, those moss liners are getting pretty ragged. We picked these up to replace the old liners and they look great, fit our boxes perfectly and now we're just waiting on planting weather.

Ugh, birds in my window boxes were driving me nuts! I mean, I love the little critters, but not when they're trying to turn my planters into their personal nesting grounds. That's when I stumbled upon these amazing felt liners. I'm not gonna lie, I was skeptical at first - I mean, how excited can you get about a planter liner, right? They're like a cozy little blanket for my plants, and the sturdy material is super easy to clean. Plus, the black color gives my planters a sleek, sophisticated vibe that's perfect for my window boxes. And the best part? No more bird drama! Installation was a breeze, even for a plant killer like me (yes, I've managed to kill a succulent - don't ask). If you're tired of dealing with birds in your planters, or just want to give your plants a little extra TLC, trust me and grab these liners. Your plants (and your sanity) will thank you!

This pair of planter box liners are convenient solutions to help external planter boxes hold the soil in place while allowing (some) air flow and water drainage. The thickness and the quality of the liners are both decent enough for the lining purpose but not sturdy enough to stand on their own without the outer box/frame.Without the outer box, the liner bags with filled soil will just bulge out to the side without much resistance whereas round shape liners can be used as free standing planters. Given the website picture impression, I was hoping they could stand on their own. Kind of disappointed.

The window box liners that I received are smaller than the dimensions they have listed. My liner is 4.5" wide at the bottom and only 23" long and that's at the top where it's the longest part due to the tapered shape. The depth of the liners are the same dimensions as they state. These are too small to fit in my window boxes. Additionally, the felt is thinner than I would hope, although I can't say that they are super thin, like craft felt or anything. They are decent liners for a smaller sized window box. Unfortunately, because they are not the size they claim to be, I'm taking stars off since this is deceptive.

I have mixed reviews about these liners. On the positive end, they are very thick and do well at holding a decent amount of moisture in while also preventing the soil from just pouting out of the drainage holes. For that I am super grateful and will not be rushing to get back to the coir-based liners anytime soon. However, what's odd about these liners is that they're not shaped rectangularly, but rather like trapezoids on the bottom - i.e., there's still a decent amount of air space between the liner and the raised bed/box. They also do not give you much ability to fold them back on each other to fit well in any container that isn't perfectly sized. I ended up cutting the sides off a few of these to make the bottom layer fit in the raised beds I was using. Definitely not ideal. Not sure if I'll be purchasing these again.
