Manual: 1, Always wear ear, eye, face protection and protective safety gloves. 2, Generally, for rough work, move the burrs across the workpiece counter-rotationally. 3, Pass the tool over the workpiece in the direction of rotation to achieve fine finishes. 4, Min Clamping depth is 2/3 of the shank, if you have to clamp less, pls low speed. 5, If rough running, strong vibrations and increased flying sparks, pls use a new one. 6, Do not apply too much pressure, Let the speed do the work. Smaller burrs require faster speeds. 7, Soft materials, such as aluminum, use a grinding oil to reduce debris clogging. Grind glass, use water as lubricant. 8, Elongate holes, grip tool firmly with two hands and use a swinging motion, which prevents chatter, result in a safer cut. 9, Avoid impact loads, otherwise parts teeth will break off, shank will bend. Do not sink the burr for more than 1/3 of its periphery. 10, Recommendation for drives: shank 1/8" (75 to 300W), shank 1/4" (from 300W), for coarse cuts, 500W+ advantageous.

Pay attention that these are 1/4 inch shanks. I thought these would work with my rotary dremel extension but they are too big. Luckily I have another tool these work with. These are much shorter than I think they should be, which is why I'm not giving 5 stars. They are definitely tough though and worked on metal and hard word. Be careful though, they will burn wood if not used correctly with the right wood. I'm not upset about the price either.

I got the 4Pcs Carbide Burr Set (1/4” Shank, 8mm Head) specifically to work on ceramic plant pots, and it performed far better than expected. Drilling drainage holes and shaping edges was quick and smooth — the burrs cut cleanly through the ceramic without cracking or chipping, which is exactly what I needed. The carbide material holds up well, even against the toughness of ceramic. After multiple pots, the bits are still sharp and showing very little wear. I used them with a standard rotary tool, and the 1/4" shank fit perfectly. The head shapes provided good control, especially for smoothing out hole edges and carving small details.Be sure to use water as a coolant and go at a gentle rate of feedThe included clear case is handy for storage, and overall, the set feels like solid quality. If you're doing DIY plant pot projects or need a burr set that can handle tough, brittle materials like ceramic, this is a great pick.Pros:Cuts ceramic cleanly with no cracksVery durable and sharp carbide bitsSmooth results for carving or drillingFits standard rotary tools (in my case DEWALT )Great value with storage case includedCons:Good for hobbyist and DIYers only

The set comes in a small plastic box. The carton sleeve includes some technical information and a QR code that takes you to the manufacturer’s website, where you can find manuals and videos.I’m working on a project that involves making a fairly complex, irregular hole in a piece of extremely hard olive wood. I used an inexpensive battery-powered drill, and it worked just fine. The burrs proved efficient and saved me a lot of time. All burrs in this set have a very aggressive cut; for my purposes, I wish the flute pattern was a little less coarse. In any case, this is a great set offered at an affordable price (currently $14).

I'm a big DIYer and have been fixing, modifying, and building things for many years. The carbide burs that I have used in the past were the small "Dremel" type burs. I quickly learned how great these larger burs are. They fit in the chuck of my power drill, and with steady hands, I was able to easily grind down part of the metal frame of an old workshop tool to accept a new attachment. The cut quality looks good, but I always sand any metal smooth to eliminate any roughness. While use and safety instructions are provided, I want to emphasize some of safety warnings here. If using the bur in a power drill, you must use the regular "forward" rotation direction, NOT the reverse direction. And as you are holding the drill and facing the workpiece, you must grind the workpiece from your right to your left. If you grind in the opposite direction, you can lose control of the bur as it tends to grab the workpiece. When that happens, the bur is effectively "running away" under power. Woodworkers who use a Router will know what I mean by that. Losing control of the bur can not only damage the item you are working on, it can damage something else - even yourself. Also, wear safety glasses, or preferably a face shield on top of the safety glasses. Metal or other bits can and will fly causing injury.Considering the price, this 4-piece set is a great value for the money. The set comes in a nice plastic case, and what is really great is the instructions are printed on labels applied to the top and bottom of the case. As long as you do not try to force the bur, it should last a long time. Read the instructions, use common sense, and don't be in a hurry.

I really put this burr set to the test by using it on my die grinder. I used them on mild steel and they worked great! I like that they came in a case for easy storage/to keep everything together. Five stars!

You can never have enough grinding burrs and bits. Or at least that’s what I tell myself but anyway, I decided to pick these up to supplement what I already have, turns out they’re pretty darn nice. Good finishing , proper machine centering, no wobble , good cutting. the pictures Show the detailed cutting end machining , which is nicely done. Looks like the metal is adequately hardened and other words they are what they say. They are so far they cut very well they don’t clog up easily teeth are remaining sharp. Haven’t really abused them yet but on alloy and Miles steel, it worked very well. So far time will tell but I’m happy with them.

There's not too much to say, other than they work great. Aside from just taking off that razor edge, as would be expected, I'm not seeing any damage or wear after some use on mild steel.

These arrived very quickly and were boxed exceptionally well. The burrs are well designed and perfect for a countless of variety of fabrication work. When using, I experienced no issues with them regarding quality, in fact, they stayed very clean, appear well balanced and the variety of shapes and sizes is ultra beneficial when creating custom and unique builds. The price is quite low for burrs of this quality so, yes, they're a terrific value. I can't find anything negative to report on these and while grinding burrs do require a slight learning curve to somewhat master, if you take your time, don't push them to hard/fast and allow them to work as design, I'm sure your results and satisfaction will absolutely equate to that of my own.Great value, fast delivery, clean/fast cutting, all equate to something worth owning and when needed, well, you've very glad to have them in your tool chest.
