I'm isolating a ceiling-mounted dust filtration system for my woodworking shop in my basement. It will be hanging from engineered I-joists for the floor above. These isolators are designed for motors to sit on top of rather than hang from. I will be making a cradle that hangs from the joists for the filtration box to sit in and then mount the box with the isolators on the bottom of the filtration motor/box.These are perfect size at a little over 1-1/2 inches in diameter. The hardness is typical of these types of isolators-- maybe slightly harder than auto tires.

Bought these for an engine mount to reduce vibration. Fit the Predator 212cc engine just fine in the mounting holes. The rubber is solid, enough rigidity so there's no slope in engine movement and vibration does seem reduced. These turned out perfect for my application.
